Mathilde Mirouze – Young Entrepreneur’s Innovation – Career Change, Start Up and Crowdfunding
My guest today is Mathilde Mirouze, co-founder of 9H Vintage, a brand-new watch company being launched by crowdfunding, a major career change for Mathilde who was previously an intensive care nurse…
We will be discussing:
- Career changes and the choices involved – Why and what – and how they can have a fun and positive impact on life and career
- Creating a start up – What are the main steps to think about when creating a start-up, the challenges and the advantages.
- Crowdfunding – Ways of getting financing for your project. Choice of traditional or modern.
Mathilde Mirouze is co-founder of 9H Vintage, a brand-new watch company. A Frenchwoman, former nurse (4 years in the intensive care unit), she is 26 years old and currently living in Bangkok. Foreign medical practitioners aren’t allowed to work in Thailand, so being resourceful Mathilde decided to completely change direction: create her own watch and launch her start-up. As young entrepreneurs rarely have much capital, once the design and protype were completed she decided to take yet another innovative step – launch her brand on a Crowdfunding platform to finance her first mass production.
